EU RoHS is the first specific directive to control hazardous substances in E&E products, which has been the model of E&E control legislation in many other countries. Now the effective version of it is 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2.0). Besides RoHS, there are other control measures, such as REACH, PAHs, Halogens and PoHS etc., to deal with hazardous substances maybe existing in E&E.
